Here we have an honest Winchester Model 69 bolt action .22 rimfire rifle. The Winchester Model 69 is a bolt-action .22 caliber repeating rifle first produced in 1935 by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. It was marketed as Winchester's mid-priced bolt-action rimfire sporting rifle, positioned above inexpensive single-shot rifles such as the Model 68 and beneath the prestigious Model 52. This particular rifle is in very good condition overall exhibiting some use and handling marks but nothing major. A little high edge wear on metal components and a few character marks on the wood stock. Over time the sling mounts have swung against the wood and left some indentations. The 25 inch barrel has a good bore and some finish wear at the muzzle. The rear peep sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. This fine rifle would make a great addition to an existing collection or just a good honest everyday shooter.
