Description:
The 1909 Colt, ( was developed as a stand in it for the 1911 which had not been perfected for military acceptance yet. The 1917 was a very similar model develped for the 45 ACP, and used along side of the 1911. This 1909, has what appears to be it's original holster with it and the serial number of the Colt hand inscribed on the back along with other stampings. A great example for military, colt, and revolver collectors.
