Description:
20" carbine configuration, chambered in 30-30 WCF Caliber. Full length magazine tube. Featuring original sights- Lymans front with a VERY RARE Winchester Express rear sight. This sight, equipped w/short yardage leaves, was designated as the "Winchester Express" rear sight. It was fitted to carbines or rifles, and is found RARELY. The bore is excellent ++ and the action is very crisp. This gun is in overall excellent condition, with about 85 percent bright blue, traces of case color on both hammer and lever, and correct saddle ring. The wood is also in excellent condition. I think that the rear stock may have at one time been very lightly sanded. Gun is complete with with original steel butt plate, shotgun style, which were found on EARLY guns.
