Description:
Model 1901 was a 10 Gauge only. Standard length 32 inch round barrel with a Full choke. A mostly bright shiny bore with some very fine scattered roughness. Barrel has about 40% thinning blue turning a gray/brown patina. 5 shot magazine. Receiver has about 85% blue with the balance turning a plum/brown color. Nice visible Winchester Repeating Arms monogram on the left side. The plain pistolgrip walnut stock is in very good condition with some minor handling mars. Checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Forearm wood panel is good on the right side while the left side has numerous chips and abrasions near the frame. Action functions very fine mechanically. 13,500 of these were made from 1901-1920 and this one was made in 1908. A good honest looking example for your Winchester collection.
