SOLD****************Remington Model 81, 30 Caliber Remington, Pre-war 1940. Serial number 10926, Date Code DC: June, 1940. This is an all original matching numbers rifle. Super clean inside/out, bore bright/shiny with sharp crisp lands & grooves! Blueing and woods stocks conservative 95%. Wood proud of metal and has never been sanded! Front/rear sights orignal to rifle! Has never been drilled/tapped for extra sights, scopes or swivels. Mild wear, some minor dings, dents in wood. Mild dings, dents spiderweb type scratches in metal. Rifle has been test fired and functions as it should. All mechanical funtions are as they should be. It is highly recommended to have a competant gun smith check out all vintage/used firearms for your own protection as not responsibie for anyone firing vintage firearms!
