Description:
Falling Block Works Model J chambered in .22 "K" Hornet. Here's a nice single-shot rifle that was custom built using a Falling Block Works "Model J" receiver. Falling Block Works, Inc was founded by Joe and Leo Fix in Troy, Michigan in 1971, with the intent to offer rugged single shot rifle actions that were constructed as simply as possible. This rifle has a 23" heavy barrel and is chambered for the .22 K Hornet cartridge. It is fitted with walnut stocks, the butt featuring a generous pistol grip and a thin Fajen pad. Length of pull measures 13-1/2". Overall condition is excellent with a highly polished blue finish. The satin finished stocks have a beautiful grain and are free of significant handling marks. The mechanics appear to be in perfect working order and comes with an excellent trigger. The bore also appears to be in excellent condition with bright, sharp rifling. The rifle comes with a Redfield 6x-18x scope. The .22 Hornet is a varminting, small-game hunting, survival and competition centerfire rifle cartridge commercially introduced in 1930. None
