This J. P. Sauer & Sohn boxlock SxS 12 Gauge shotgun has 2 3/4" chambers and is choked Modified and Full. It is a fine example of an early 20th century European side by side shotgun with a European style cheekpiece on the stock, engraved receiver, and side clips. The lockup is tight and the barrels ring true. All the fit is good on all the wood to metal surfaces. 12 Gauge

Metal Condition: "Good The bluing is thinning on the barrels and the case coloring is fading from the receiver, but there is no excessive wear or indication of abuse or neglect.
Wood Condition: Good Normal wear with a small chip in the end of the fore-end and some flattening of the checkering. Minor scratches.
