Description: M14 / M1A COMPLETE BOLT - RECLAIMED USGI - Complete bolt Includes firing pin, ejector, extractor. Mixed Manufacturers ABOUT USGI RECLAIMED BOLTS “Reclaimed M14 bolt” is a label coined to categorize an original USGI bolt that Uncle demilled by spot welding the face and sometimes also the rear to make unserviceable. By carefully removing the weld and machining the firing pin channel and hole, these bolts have been made serviceable again. Once machined, bolts are inspected for cracks, firing pin protrusion, firing pin hole diameter, and ability to achieve safe headspace. Bolts that do not meet these criteria are scrapped. Reclaimed M14 bolts have been in circulation for years and are used by others on rifle builds and are being sold separately. To date we have not heard of any incidents involving failures caused by the use of reclaimed bolts. After our own testing and evaluation, we feel confident offering our reclaimed bolts as a option to our new manufacture LRB bolts. As not to misrepresent...bolt is not refinished...it is left in original condition showing finish wear and silver mark on face where weld was removed. SOLD |
