Here's a Excellent Example of a Remington Cane Gun ! These Remington Cane guns Scarce do to a limited production. Most there cane guns had dog heads and claw and ball . They came in different calibers and different lengths . What make this one highly Collectable is that it is a 22 caliber! Very few where made in 22 caliber ! Also they made fewer of the plain or umbrella handle which came in different shapes ! Also most of the handles where changed to real fancy carved ivory , silver and gold handles where custom added after production. This model is one of the most rarest of all the Remington Cane Guns ! It measures 36" . GUTTA PERCHA shaft is in Excellent condition with a thin crack at the bottom of the shaft . As seen in photos. I believe this is a easy fix . GUTTA PERCHA is friendly to work with . Serial number 1560 is stamped on metal tip and end of shaft and end of the barrel . Also serial numbered on the GUTTA PERCHA shaft right above the serial number on the tip . it's hard to read but still visible by the naked eye but hard to photo graph . Handle and the rest of the cane is in Excellent condition! Bore and mechanics are excellent . Gun locks up tight . Gun is in excellent working order.
