On Hold Sale Pending This is a Antique Remington 3 band military Rolling Block Circa 1870s. When I purchased this rifle it was listed as a 45-70 but a 45-70 did not fully chamber so I tried a 43 Spanish case and it did chamber so I believe it to be 43 Spanish. The 2 band walnut stock is in good condition but shows dents from normal use. The metal part's are mostly smooth brown color with minimal pitting. The full length barrel has both front and long range leaf rear sights present. The bore is fair with good rifleing. The tang shows the Remington address and patent dates. The action seems to function fine. The gun seems complete but is missing it's cleaning rod. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
