Sold #567 A Champlin rifle in 270 Win.
24” full octagonal barrel with shinny bore and chamber, fitted on the bespoke Champlin 60 Degree bolt opening 5 locking lugs action, by Bill Rinie in October of 1979.
Weight is 9 Lbs 8 oz with the Sheppard 3 to 10 with range finding capability. Nicely detail stock with checkered steel but plate (LOP 13 3/4”) , two screws sling swivel with shadow lines , ebony forend tip, steel grip cap, Canjar trigger with tang safety . Blacking is in 95 % plus original condition, wood finish and checkering are also in 95% original condition with some light marks above the trigger , maybe from a truck rack. You may think I’m prejudiced but they are awesome rifles!
