Here we have a Commemorative Winchester Model 1894 Legendary Frontiersmen rifle chambered in .38-55 caliber. The Winchester Model 1894 rifle (also known as the Winchester 94 or Model 94) is a lever-action repeating rifle that became one of the most famous and popular hunting rifles of all time. It was designed by John Browning in 1894 and originally chambered to fire two metallic black powder cartridges, the .32-40 Winchester and .38-55 Winchester. It features a 24-inch round barrel, tubular magazine, checkered walnut stock, and adjustable rear sight. Includes factory box and papers. This rifle appears unfired and is in minty condition. The only imperfection is on the butt plate where there is some surface loss and pitting. With the exception of the butt plate the rifle is in as-new condition and exhibits only the very slightest of handling marks. This fine rifle would be an excellent addition to any collection or the beginning of a new collection.
