Description:
This is an original U.S. Civil War Roby & Co. Model 1840 Heavy Artillery Sword in nice untouched condition. The sword is all original and complete. The sword has a nice blade with a grey finish and there are two small nicks the edge of the blade. The sword is marked “C. ROBY & CO. on one side of the ricasso. The brass guard has a nice even and patina. The black leather grip is completely intact and the brass wire on the grip is in excellent condition. The scabbard has a brown finish and there are some small dents on one side of the scabbard. The two hanger loops are intact. This would make a nice addition to any Civil War collection.
