#13733 Hoffman Arms Company Double rifle ejector 30-06
A Webley barreled action finished by the Hoffman Arms Company between 1923 and 1925 when located at 174 East 27th Street , in Cleveland Ohio. Mr. John Wright , formerly from Holland and Holland was doing stock work for the company and had the connection in England to get shotguns and double rifles in the white from England to be finished per order. Rudolph Kornbrath did Hoffman engraving. The 70% scroll and checkering coverage is most certainly his work . The rifle is completely original and had a most sheltered life; bores and chambers are like new, blacking is 95% with a few minor scratches and light thinning at the muzzles. The case color hardening is 95% plus. Only the very back of the top tang and the trigger guard tang are worn off. Action is tight, springs are strong, batteries and ejectors are in time. 26" chopper lump barrels, 14" LOP over steel plate , weight is 9 Lbs.14 Oz .
