We offer you a High Standard Military Supermatic Citation .22 LR Semi Auto Pistol with 5 ½ inch barrel.
This Hamden manufactured High Standard Military Supermatic Citation wears a 5 ½ inch barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues. It has (4) ~ four holes in the top of the barrel that were done sometime in the past for a mount. The original bluing on the gun is in excellent condition with some marks and small specs in the finish. The non-factory right hand grips are in very fine condition with no cracks. The left hand grip varnish is white on the lower end as you can see. The left side of the frame is marked “SUPERMATIC / CITATION”. The left side of the slide is marked “-HIGH- / STANDARD”. The left barrel flat is marked “.22 LONG RIFLE”. The right barrel flat is marked “HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. / HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A.”. The right side of the frame is marked “MILITARY” and “2414231”. The action functions correctly and the trigger on this pistol is adjustable for over-travel via a screw on the front of the trigger. There is also the sear adjustment screw on the rear of the slide.
Many of our estate firearms have been stored for some time and a thorough cleaning and inspection are recommended.
