Hello and thank you for taking a look at my listing. i am selling quite a few of my rifles as my health is requiring it to be done. anyways, i have a Winchester Model 70 that i had built 30 years ago for myself. it is in calber .280 Remington via a Douglas premium xx air gauged barrel, wrapped in a Brown Precision glass stock and sighted by a Leupold Vari X2 3x9x40 riflescope with a duplex reticle and fired by a super crisp -3# trigger. Best of all is its a shooter, a 3 shot group will tell you if its a decent shooter a 5 shot even more so, ive shot 10 shot groups into less than 7/8th inch groups with this, 3 shots into less the 3/8th inch. its a wonderful rifle to carry and fire but my days of shooting are coming to a close so i am going to sell it at this time. when it was built i had over $2800.00 in it and will sell it now for $1550.00. after looking at other rifles of its pedigree i am about half price, hopefully will go to a good home with a happy shooter as its new owner. thank you for looking, keep your powder dry.
