Description:
This Colt New service Revolver was made in the second year of production (1899) and has an as new bore. The gun is in perfect working order and appears to have been fired very little. It was evidently stored in it's flap top holster, which goes with the gun and as a result it has some very light pitting on the back strap, trigger guard and butt with some fading on on side of the grip. The rest of the gun retains almost all of the original finish. The holster is lined and is in poor condition, It has a 7 1/2 inch barrel. These long barred revolvers were sometimes referred to as target models. These were in production between 1898 and 1943. The serial number is 1XX.
