Description:
This one is in very nice condition with very good wood and has the Enfield cartouche on the butt. It has an 1896 wrist date with a 25.2” barrel shortened for rifle club competition use. The brass butt plate is stamped NZ with the war department acceptance stamps on many parts. SN 2867A. The metal is blue and the 10 round magazine is linked to the trigger guard. The magazine cut off is present and the rifle is chambered in 303 British. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is very good with frosted grooves. There is a small grain scratch on wood left side near the receiver.
