For sale is a truly unique 1963 Belgian Superposed Lightning 20g. with 3" chambers stocked in a AAA fancy English/Straight grip walnut stock with Schnabel forend. The custom stock and long tang were done by Haugh & Sons Custom Gun Work in Indiana (Jack and his son, Cole are both master gunsmiths and specialize in English better/best restorations). The condition of the mechanicals is perfect, metal surfaces show honest wear in the bluing but nothing distracting. Wood condition is perfect, checkering is perfect. 26.5" barrels are clean, no dents or dings - fixed choked in M(**) over IC(**-). LOP is nice and long at 14.875" to Pachmeyer pad (14" to end of wood). I am measuring the stock to have dimensions of 1 1/2" at comb and drop of 2 1/2" at heel. This lively bird gun is perfect for quail, grouse, or woodcock! This would make a great 'birth year' shotgun for the collector! This is my personal shotgun - feel free to ask any questions.
Serial number dates this Browning to 1963 - no worries of the dreaded 'salt gun' here.
