A U.S. Military Issued Civil War Colt Model 1860 Percussion Army Revolver In Fine Condition Identified On The Bottom Of The Backstrap In Script To "R. Cord". Serial #90,130, all matching numbers. Made in 1863. All original and complete. The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and crisp edges. It has an excellent, sharp, and complete cylinder scene. It is fully U.S. Sub-Inspected. The barrel and cylinder have a wonderful mix of original blue that is turning plum throughout. The frame and hammer have lots of original darkening case colors throughout them. The backstrap has an even plum patina throughout it.. The brass trigger guard is excellent and untouched throughout. All screws are excellent with original blue on them. The factory grips are excellent and full with with clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouches visible on both sides. The revolver has an excellent action and bore in it. The name "R. Cord" on the bottom of the backstrap is in scipt and has a small letter "O' above the last name "Cord" at the end of it. The name needs to be further researched as there are a couple of possiblities. This Is A Very Fine Example Of an Early U.S. Military Issued And Identified Civil War Colt Model 1860 Percussion Army Revolver That Is Fresh Out Of A Very Old Collection!
