Description:
Up for sale is a very rare, excellent condition 1883 Remington Hammer Lifter Shotgun. This is a cartridge shotgun which uses black powder shotgun shells. The shotgun has a 30 inch barrel with an overall lenth of 46 inches. The trigger pulls are 13" for the rear trigger and 14" for the front trigger. This is a hammer shotgun. Everything works perfectly. This gun was loved and well taken care of. The bores are actually better then the picture shows. The wood is in excellent condition showing no cracks or chips. Just expected usage marks. The firing pin assemblies are not there. The guy I got this from said he has them and will send them on to me. When/if he does forward them to me, I will forward them to you. However, one can never guarantee another's actions, so it is what it is. When I shoot my black powder shotguns, I reuse modern hulls and reload the way I would reload a modern shotshell, but instead of modern powder, I use either 80 gr. 3F black powder, or 70 gr. Pyrodex RS. The chokes seem to be Modified.
Shiping will be $49.95. This will include insurance and signature delivery.
