A Scarce & Desirable Early Civil War Colt 3rd Modell Percussion Dragoon Revolver Cut For Stock With Leaf Sights In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #17,921, all matching numbers. All original and complete. Made in 1858. The Scarce Dragoon has very nice metal, markings, and edges. It has a very good cylinder scene throughout showing some light natural wear. The barrel address markings are very clear on top. All of the metal on the gun has a natural darkening patina throughout it. All screws are fine including the rare original elongated stock screws. The back strap and trigger guard retain more than half of their original factory silver. The original grips are very nice throughout and have light wear at the top on both sides from having a stock on the revolver. It has a fine, tight action and a very good bore. This Is A Very Even And nice Looking All Original Civil War 3rd Model Colt Dragoon With Great Character That Could Have Been Bought By An Officer Or Soldier And Used In The Civil War!
