Description:
A beautiful Rigby double rifle in 500BPE cartridge. This rifle is in excellent exterior condition, the bores however leave a lot to be desired. Sometime in its life the bores were left uncleaned after shooting leaving them with pitting for about 10 inches in front of the chambers. The remainder of the bores as well as the chambers are in reasonably good condition to the muzzles. The gun even shoots well with paper patched bullets. The barrels are steel and would lend themselves to sleeving by a competant gunsmith. This was my intention years ago. Stats: LOP 14.5in.to a steel butt plate, Weight 9lbs. BBl len is 26in. DAC 1 1/8in. DAH 2 1/8in. Shipping to contiguous states included in selling price. More photos on request. There is a 3 day inspection as standard on GI listings and if you buy the gun and don't like it it can be returned for a full refund less shipping costs.
