Description:
Parker Bros. 12 gauge GH grade built in 1892. This gun is in excellent original condition. It retains 50% of the original case colors,98% of the original wood finish,and 90% of the damascus pattern. The damascus barrels are 30" and have excellent wall thickness and bright bores. The barrels are choked improved modified (,025") and full (.035") and the chambers are the original 25/8". The gun is built on a #1 frame. The stock is sound and free of any cracks or damage. The stock retains the original dogs head buttplate. The barrels are on face and lock up to the action with no play. The top lever is the early style "fish tail" lever.This gun is in remarkable condition for its age. according to the factory letter it was shipped to Mr.T,B,Davis of Portland,Me.on July 25,1892. With proper ammunition it is ready for another 130 years of shooting. Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
