When designing the Ruger American® Pistol Duty Semi-Auto Pistol, their engineers focused on producing a firearm that would meet or exceed the U.S. military's requirements for a service sidearm. The result is a semi-automatic pistol that performs flawlessly in the most extreme conditions; and is comfortable and highly controllable to shoot with great accuracy. Features include an inspection port for visual confirmation of a loaded (or empty) chamber, ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release, and a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail which provides an attachment point for aftermarket lights and sights.
