Here's a WW2 Used Winchester model 12 Riot Gun ! Serial number 993885 . Barrel and frame don't match . looking at this gun you can see that it's been together forever , so we believe this was a field mix and used this way during WW2 . Gun is in used condition. Metal finish has turned a brown patina. With scratches and handling marks . Walnut stock is original and has a vivid GHD and Winchester Wheel stamped in proper location on stock . Stock has a old repair on wrist . Butt plate I replaced because the original butt plate was missing a chip and was cracked in 2 spots ( see photo ) . Original butt plate I will include. U.S. stamped on frame . Barrel has correct CYL marking below full stamp, which was crossed out and CYL stamped below. This was a Arsenal Rework from full to cylinder choke . Typical during WW2 . All markings are very visible. Bore and mechanics are excellent! Gun locks up tight and is in excellent working order ! Overall a very good Example of a WW2 Winchester Military Riot gun in 12 gauge .
