We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Here is a rare Winchester 1885 Low Wall Takedown rifle in 22 WCF. This rifle is in good orignal condition with lots of patina. The lever hangs down a bit and the action is stiff to open. The hammer does not remain cocked when the action closes. Not sure what that all means. The take down feature works properly and the fit is tight and solid. The rear sight has been removed and the barrel has been drilled with 4 holes for a side style scope mount. This rifle was made in 1908 according to the online databases. Includes Winchester letter showing it was a takedown rifle and chambered in 22 WCF. The letter states it was received in the warehouse May 25 1911 and shipped May 26 1911. FREE SHIPPING!
