Savage model 1899-F Saddle Ring Carbine in .303 Savage. SN #165566. Mfg. in 1915. LOP 13". 20" Barrel with an EXCELLENT Bore for it's age. Bright with STRONG RIFLING. Both the Blued / Case Colored Metal an Smooth Straight Walnut Stock and Forend with Schnabel have been FULLY RESTORED by SHOOTER'S EXCHANGE and LOOK GREAT. Tang is tapped for a Tang Sight. Case Colored Lever. Cocking Indicator. Round Counter. Saddle Ring on left side of Receiver. 6 Shot Rotary Magazine. Face of Receiver is marked with an "S" and an "R" under the forend.
