Merkel "Anton Weingarten" ESHA O/U Shotgun in 16Ga. SN #41060. Mfg. Pre-WWII. DOUBLE TRIGGERS. LOP 14" & 13 1/4". Chamber 2 3/4". DAH 2 1/2" - DAC 1 3/8". Chokes are Top: Mod. (.015) and Bottom: Light Mod. (.009). 29 1/4" Solid Rib Barrels with EXCELLENT Bright and Shiny Bores. Krupp Steel, Nitro Marked Barrels. The Blued Metal and Fine Checkered Pistol Grip Stock and Forend have been FULLY RESTORED by SHOOTER'S EXCHANGE and LOOK GREAT. Highly Engraved Receiver with Running Rabbits on the left side and Pheasants on the right. Kick-Eez Rubber Recoil Pad can be changed if so desired. Barrels are marked "Anton Weingarten, Dusseldorf", which was a High End Retailer that sold Private Label Guns. This one being made by Gebruder Merkel. Weight: 7.35 lbs.
