Description:
22 inch octagon tapered barrel chambered in 30 WCF caliber with a full length magazine tube. Bright shiny near excellent bore. Sights include a German silver blade front sight with Winchester 3-leaf Express rear and a folding Lyman tang sight. Gun features a takedown frame and the shorter than standard forearm which is typical for a short rifle. Barrel and mag retain about 75% slightly thinning blue. The receiver has about 45-50% blue remaining. "J.A.LAVERY" stamped on left side of receiver. Wood is in excellent condition with fancy grain. Complete with a rifle style buttplate. Crisp action. Not a bad looking special order 1894 rifle from 1910.
