Description:
If you're a Mosin-Nagant aficionado and looking for that special Mosin M1891-30 Ex-Dragoon in very high condition and plenty of accessories, look no further here it is.
This one was manufactured in1928 at the Russian Izhevsk Armory, model M1891-30 with a hex receiver, Serial #24045, a 30” barrel, bolt action, chambered in 7.62x54r. It has ALL matching serial numbers, from the metal butt-stock plate to the bayonet.
The reddish stock has an exceptionally smooth & scratch free finish and has all the various refurbishing stamps that wartime Mosins are noted for. The actual tone of the wood is darker than these cell phone photos. The bore is shiny and the rifling is strong. Barrel harmonics have been established according to tradition. Bluing is excellent, 98+% with no rust or corrosion anywhere. The action is tight & crisp.
It comes with its cleaning rod, hooded front sight / rear sight, sling, 20” attachable spike bayonet, 5-round capacity, 4 traditional ammo pouches, traditional oil can, cleaning accessories & tool.
In addition, included with this rifle are all of these extra accessories:
* AIM 2 x7x42 scope, illuminated red/green long-eye-relief w/rings & 20mm rail. (I successfully attached the AIM 2 x7x42 scope rail to the existing rear iron site mounts without violating the receiver or barrel. Both the scope & rail can easily be removed if desired.)
* Front site wind-age adjusting tool.
* Trigger spring installation kit by Smith Sights [to take up the slack and lessen the trigger weight].
* Headspace guage by Oakie.
* Mosin Plus LLC M91-30 muzzle break for minimizing muzzle rise.
* Mosin-Nagant Rubber Recoil Butt Pad for reducing kick.
* 7.62x54r cartridge laser boresighter to sight the scope.

Many years ago I bought this rifle to keep, so I completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled and refreshed the metal, wood & action. The entire stock has been hand-rubbed with 5 coats of Tru Oil, while maintaining the many original Soviet stamps. The overall condition of this M1891-30 ex-Dragoon, mechanically & ascetically is very high. It's from my collection, which I intended to keep but circumstances are requiring me to pass it on. It's ready for action or as a collectors piece... or both. If you're a serious M1891-30 aficionado this one is a good buy and a wise investment.
