Description:
Built by Hopkins & Allen for the Merwin, Hulbert & Co. 3rd Model Pocket Army double action c.1880s. Good barrel addresses, Frame markings areas has been carded on both sides making them difficult to read. Left side of frame marked Winchester 1873 qualifying the caliber as 44-40. Appears properly timed yet, trigger return spring very weak or broken requiring manual push forward to reset. Barrel /cylinder assembly numbers do not match and offers a bit more than felt play on the frame fit. Hard rubber grip panels, generous amount of nickel finish. .44-40 Winchester
