This sturdy, yet graceful little rifle is a study in functional walnut and steel. With nearly perfect lines and balance, the Model 94 is the best-selling sporting rifle of all time, and the .30-30 is the best-selling cartridge. It is hard to go wrong with this combination. The pre-1964 versions remain the most desirable of all Winchester Model 94s. Just how popular is the Winchester Model '94 rifle? Serial number 1,000,000 was presented to President Calvin Coolidge in 1927, while President Harry Truman received rifle number 1,500,000 in 1948 and President Dwight D.
