Description:
Smith & Wesson U.S. Post Office Marked .38/32 S&W Terrier Revolver. The revolver has "P. O. Dept. 24731" marked on the back strap. It also includes a leather holster marked "PROPERTY OF U.S. P. O. DEPT." and dated 1952, and Leelanau Country Sheriff's Office letter stating revolver was carried by Postmaster General Arthur Ellsworth Summerfield Sr. from 1953 to 1961. The revolver appears to have been professionally refinished or restored. .38 S&W
