Auto-Ordnance Corporation/Thompson Korean War Commemorative Model 1927 A1 Semi-Automatic Rifle chambered in .45 ACP caliber. This rifle features a 16 1/2-inch finned barrel with fixed front and adjustable rear sights. It has a blued finish with gilt trigger, compensator, cocking knob, rear sight base, and sling swivels. Figured walnut stock, pistol grip and fore-end. Right side of receiver machine engraved with the caption Korean War Commemorative Thompson, In Defense of the Principles of the Free World, and with a Korean War Service emblem. All numbers and lettering highlighted in gilt. Commemorative medallions inset on stock and pistol grip. .45 ACP
