Description:
General Specs: Mauser, Year c. 1945, 6.35 (.25 ACP), 9.8oz
Serial Number: 16

A wonderful piece of history, a Mauser WTP II, fourth variant. About 17,000 of these Vest Pocket Pistols were produced before the demands of war (and bomb damage) closed the Mauser assembly line. After the wars end, enough parts were found to allow the Factory (now under French management) to produce approximately 1000 of these handy Pistols. This example is number 16 and was almost certainly made on the first day of production! The serial number is stamped on the frame near the heel mag release and on the slide above the cocking indicator, the two-piece grip panels are undamaged. The bluing is in great shape with a little loss on the slide. The bore is in excellent condition with strong rifling. A Mauser stamped six round magazine is included.
An historical and rare piece for any Mauser, WWII or pocket pistol collection!
