Description:
High condition, early model 1892 rifle with 24” barrel. Cody letter attached. Most of the factory blue is still present on the barrel, magazine and frame. Polish marks still lightly visible on frame. Strong rifling with very light pitting. Manufactured in 1895. SN-46845.
Sights options appear to be factory Winchester flattop Sporting rear sight and a nickel-silver blade front sight, with a Lyman No. 1 combination, second variation rear stock sight. Good case colors remaining on the lever and hammer. Wood is in excellent condition. Screws are in very good shape. Great condition, collectable pre 1900 model 1892 with a full-unopened original correct box of 38-40 WCF cartridges (1908 box).
