Mossberg Model 44US (a) Bolt Action .22 LR Training / Target Rifle - Smooth one piece walnut target stock with raised cheek plate and sling swivels. 26 in. long HD barrel with globe style front sight. Thumb safety. 7 round detachable clip style magazine. Receiver drilled for scope. Includes a Weaver model K12 -60- C2 scope with mount and clear lens in good condition. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Steel butt plate in very good condition. Wgt. 8 lbs. Stock and forend are in very good condition with minimal handling marks. The overall condition is exceptionally good for the age of this rifle. Nice addition to any collection. Manufactured from 1943 to 1948.
