Spl., 26" octagon barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of freckling within the grooves about midway down. This is a 1914-made rifle that has retained 90-92% of the original blue finish on the barrel and magazine tube, with silvering at the muzzle, along the edges of the barrel facets, and gray metal on the magazine band. The receiver has a mottled, pewter gray patina with spots of plum-brown freckling throughout, and that carries over onto the barrel bolster. The hammer and lever retain about 70-75% of the original blue with the balance faded to freckled gray. The smooth walnut forend and straight-wrist buttstock have numerous minor handling marks and small blemishes in the slightly worn original oil finish. The crescent steel buttplate has a slightly darker patina than the receiver. This is a very nice T/D Winchester, with some honest wear, but also retaining a great deal of original finish. It would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Winchester Model: 1894 Serial Number: 751192 Caliber Info: .32 Win Spl Gauge Info: .32 Win Spl |
