Description:
A highly collectible Colt Official Police .22 that was probably made in the first couple of days of production. It has the 6” barrel and comes with the original box and paperwork. The Colt factory letter shows that it was shipped on March 27, 1930 to M.S. Young & Company in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The gun remains in 99+% condition and does not look like it has ever been fired. As far as the finish, action, bore & grips, they are all like new. I do see one hairline small mark on the left side of the barrel. The original box numbered to the gun also remains in excellent condition. This is one that has been salted away in my collection for many years. If you want the best then this one would be difficult to beat. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
