This would appear to be one of the first to be made of a single piece of steel sheet. All cups prier were two piece and all the cups, except the pattern 1901, after were made of aluminum in 1906. This cup measures 2" tall and 3" across. It is clearly marked on the top of the handle with US. The handle is held by one rivet top and bottom. A good portion of the coating is still present with only light surface corrosion and no dents or gouges. In my research I have found only a few cups like this one. The overall appearance is nice with a wonderful patina that talks of its age. SOLD |
