Description:
This is an original M1910 canteen set with original cup and cover. The canteen is in very good to excellent condition with average bumps and dings manufactured by the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Co. in 1918 and is marked on the back side of the canteen. The cup is also in very good shape and was manufactured by the Buckeye Aluminum Co. also dated 1918 on the bottom. The canvas cover is in good to very good condition and was made and dated 1918, I can not make out the manufacturer. The cover has some water stains and age soiling with a tiny frayed area around the left snap. All the hardware is present and functioning fine with only the slightest hint of verdigris. This is a very respectable set for display.
