Description:
Serial #48302, 12 Ga. (2 3/4"), 28" barrel with an excellent, bright bore (choked FULL). This is a 1955-made gun that retains 92-95% of the original blue finish with some silvering along the exposed edges and projections, but mostly along the bearing surfaces of the magazine tube. The grooved walnut forend and pistol-grip buttstock are in very good-fine condition with some minor handling marks scattered throughout, as well as some flaking of the original varnish, especially along the belly of the buttstock. The original Winchester hard rubber buttplate is in fine shape with very little evident wear, and only mild flattening of the points. This is a fine-excellent example of a Winchester Model 25 and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
