Description:
Serial #980301, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1968-made revolver that has retained 90-92% of the original blue finish, with silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges and projections, as well as a mild turn-ring on the cylinder. The hammer has a dark, plum-brown patina with spots of darker freckling, and bright metal on the protected areas. The checkered walnut grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior, with light wear and flattening of the points on both panels. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a fine, late ‘60s Detective Special, and is in fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
