Description:
Nice Rare All Blue Early 2nd generation Custom Colt SAA 38 spl with desirable 4 3/4" barrel! This gun was made in 1959.
It features an ALL Blue finish, with gold letters, which produce a beautiful contrast (probably a later custom work, but very nicely done). We have test fired this gun, and it's a super nice shooter. Very smooth and accurate. It hit point of impact every time form 10 to 25 yards! It comes with a set of faux ivory grips, but not the cheap plastic ones... these are quite heavy, like the real deal!
There are some handling marks and a few blemishes on the finish, but overall it remains in very nic condition for an old 63 year old Colt. The action is crisp and has good timing. Bore and chambers are excellent!
A very distinct thing is that, the number on cylinder "109"TC he's the serial number on frame, but the cinder is marked "357" on it... and it's chambersd for 357 mag.. maybe the product of custom work? Only a letter from Colt could verify...
This would make a beautiful piece if you are looking for a unique shooter or just another rare Colt for a 2nd generation Colt SAA collection! Priced to sell!
