This is a listing for a very special MAUSER Es350B Cal. .22 Long Rifle Single Shot Target Rifle with Scope. This rifle has the matching serial number of 190661 on the barrel and the receiver and the bolt is matching with the last 4 digits of 0661. Note that many Mauser .22 rifles on the market today have mismatched bolts and this can affect the rifle's function and accuracy due to any headspace problems! No worries with this well cared for rifle! This rifle was probably made in 1939, with finest Pre-War materials and craftsmenship! Mauser made only a limit number of these rifles due to the higher costs. Do not confuse this rifle with the very common Es340B rifles. My Es350B rifle has a beautiful high grade walnut stock showing higher grade grain figure with full undamaged checkering. The stock was refinished by a prior owner and the Mauser cartouch (roundel circle) was removed. The wood is in excellent condition overall without any dents, gouges,deep scratches or chips. The stock does have a new high quality reproduction butt plate that looks great, but, needs some trimming with a Dremel tool along the edges and at the toe, or the buyer can just leave it as it is. The stock still has the original Mauser sling loops. The rifle has the 26.8" target barrel with an excellent bore, bright with deep rifling and undamaged crown. The original front sight is the barley corn triangle shape type. The target rear sight is missing as that sight is very scarce and expensive and just not that popular as it is an open sight and not a peep sight that American shooters prefer. The metal parts of the rifle have been refinished and have a very pleasing deep blue finish,nice vintage style look. The receiver is unaltered and has not been drilled and tapped like a lot of Mauser .22 rifles have been over the years. The original bolt body was reblued but, the bolt handle has not been altered for low scope mounting like many on the market today. The rifle weighes approx. 9 lbs. with the scope and approx. 8 lbs. without the scope. The scope is a near mint Simmons 8 Point 3-9X32mm, duplex type reticle. The scope has 1/4" adjustments and a great focus. The scope mounts are Leupold and they are detachable that clamp on the the receiver grooves. The scope is a well proven scope that functions as it should. The scope comes with factory scope caps (not in photos). The rifle has been throughly tested with live ammunition and all parts function as they should including the 3 position safety. Note, many Mauser .22 rifles have broken safeties. This rifle is very accurate with CCI Standard and Norma Tac 22 ammunition. I was able to shoot 3 rounds into almost one tiny hole more than a few times at my gun club's indoor range, using a bench at 50 feet, I'm sure a better shot could probably have put all 3 into the one hole. Please remember, this rifle is a great shooter and not a mint collector's rifle with a high price of $2,000.00 plus! Why buy a rifle from a seller who has never fired the rifle they are selling? Most sellers do not even test their rifles for proper function, much less actually fire them with live ammunition! Please note that all sales and all shipping are only to the lower U.S. 47 States (no sales to Calif.). Please also note that the 3 calendar day inspection and return is not for any firing or disassembly of the rifle bolt or any other part of the gun. If the rifle is returned for any reason, the rifle must be in the exact same condition as it was shipped to the buyer's FFL. Also note that if the buyer returns the gun (the buyer's refund is reduced by the seller's actual cost that the seller paid to ship the rifle to the buyer, thus, the buyer loses the seller's original shipping cost and must pay for the return shipping) to the seller for any reason, the gun must be shipped back to the seller by the exact same shipping service as used by the seller: UPS Ground ( with full insurance) as this method has less package damage than USPS. If the buyer wishes to return the gun, the buyer must email their request to the seller within the 3 calendar day inspection period. Buyer should email me any questions or concerns BEFORE agreeing to buy. After the buyer agrees to purchase the gun, the seller will email all details needed by the buyer to complete the purchase.
