"Serial number 453994. Made circa 1880s. 45-70 caliber with a 21" barrel. This gun has been converted into a carbine from an original rifle configuration. Metal has been cleaned and stocks have been refinished. Both barrel and stock have Stembridge markings. Stembridge was a prop rental company during the golden era of cinema and their gun collection which number in the thousands were used in hundreds, if not thousands of movies.
