"Serial number 115863. Made in 1898. 45-70 caliber with a 26" barrel. Very fine gun with a lot of the original finish. Barrel has 85%-90% of the original blue. Good case colors remain that are turning to a silvery patina. Some light blue case colors remain on the right hand side of the frame. Wood is very good overall.
