Here we have a Remington Scoremaster 511P bolt action rifle chambered in .22 long rifle caliber. This Scoremaster 511 has an adjustable peep sight and a patridge-type blade front sight. The 25 inch barrel has a good bore with plenty of strong rifling remaining. This is an honest all original rifle that exhibits some wear and a few character marks earned over the years. The action works smoothly and properly. The standard "v" notch rear sight has been removed at some point. This vintage rifle would be a great learning platform for a young shooter, squirrel getter or just an everyday plinker with character.
