I'm not a Colt expert...... This Colt Shotgun is a 10 Gauge Special Order 1878 according to the Colt Historians and will letter as such. Im unable to locate the letter we had for it, but will continue looking. The serial number is 1672. It has been in our personal collection for 60 years and has been well taken care of. I will let the photos speak to the collector quality. A VERY well known and respected appraiser and gun value author provided the value. More photos available upon request.
